Anand’s classes are a combination of calmness and strength, of tranquility and power, meditation and adrenaline. I hadn’t attended a yoga class, that holistically addressed and stimulated all three key areas of well-being - physical, mental and spiritual. More often than not, one of these aspects remain unaddressed, however my very first session with Anand, awakened all my senses, through the gradual, calm guided flow of the Ashtanga session. Anand understands the unique needs of each client, and guides them gently to gain the most from a session. He is incredibly experienced and radiates peace and kindness throughout! I’m ever so grateful to be a part of this newfound yoga family and develop my practice at my own pace.
I began with Anand and his yoga teaching in Piacenza via my good friend Laura and was immediately impressed with their teaching skill and warmth. Their down to earth approach and relaxed attitude makes every practice fun. Highly recommend Samudra yoga school to everyone!
I did an online arm balance workshop in the month of June with Anand and I must say it was amazing! The way Anand tries to modify the asana practice according to the students need is laudable. For a person who had fear and struggled with arm balance asanas this workshop was a game changer. So much so that arm balance has become a part of my practice now and my fear for the elusive crow pose has just disappeared! Thank you Anand for being such a patient and understanding teacher.
